  I hope everyone had a great Christmas (or enjoyable weekend for those who don't practice it)! This is my first global post and today I published my first article for WorldEmber: The Empire of Ascalon! For a little background on article, I have been enthralled with the world of the game Sunless Skies by Failbetter Games for some time and wanted to create a similar world but focus it on day to day life, society and existence without some of the more strange/supernatural components of the game's story and obviously, not be constrained by being a video game. Basically, I want to figure out how would life be like in this type of environment if we really tried to showcase all of the details that get glossed over due to the game's perspective of being a ship captain. I hope the article is an enjoyable read and that I can get some constructive critique going forward. Hope you all have a great last few days of December!
